THE FINAL

[0] This analysis was done by a human and is subject to human error,
    without reading any amateur :-) responses that were being posted
    while I was writing it.  I am assuming that no team in contention
    will outscore another by more than 30 points.

    In addition, the analysis is based on the Game 9 standings as
    distributed by Chris.  He didn't say anything about protests,
    so if any protests are being accepted and were not taken into
    account, this may affect the numbers of points mentioned below.

[1] What She Said have clinched a berth in the Final.  The other
    berths will depend on the wild-card race.  The teams within
    30 points of the lead are:

       Misplaced Modifiers   leading
       What She Said         16 points behind
       Cellar Rats           24 points behind
       Unnatural Axxe        29 points behind

    As it happens, the top two teams in this list are playing each
    other in a cross-divisional game in Game 10.

[2] If Mods retain the wild-card lead *or* if Axxe outscore Mods by
    29 points and take the wild-card berth, then Axxe, Mods, and
    What are in.

[3] If What beat Mods by 16 points or more and nobody else overtakes
    both teams for the wild-card lead, then Axxe, What, and Night Owls
    are in.

[4] If Rats outscore Mods by 25 points and take the wild-card berth,
    and What beat Mods, then Rats, Axxe, and What are in.

[5] If Rats outscore Mods by 25 points and take the wild-card berth,
    but Mods nevertheless beat or tie What, then Rats and What are in,
    but the third team could be Axxe or Mods.  This scenario is
    unlikely enough that I won't go into further detail.


PROMOTION AND RELEGATION

[0] This analysis assumes that no teams enter or leave the league.
    Again, it is assumed that no team in "contention" for relegation
    will outscore another by more than 30 points.  Five Guys Named
    Moe will return to the Torquemada Division and the Usual Suspects,
    now in the Torquemada, will be the next question-setters.

[1] What She Said are promoted to the Torquemada Division.

[2] 5 Easy Pieces are relegated to the Jaworski Division.

[3] If Axxe beat Suspects in Game 10, *and* 5 Easy Pieces beat Rica's
    Pieces in Game 10 while also outscoring Suspects by 27 points,
    then Suspects are also relegated and will be in the Jaworski
    Division when they return to play.
